Foot Care Nurse

Teresa graduated from Georgian College's Nursing program in 1997. She is a member of The College of Nurses of Ontario and The Registered Nurses Association of Ontario. Teresa has worked in a variety of areas of nursing including geriatrics, home care, sclerotherapy and medical aesthetics. She completed the Advanced Nursing Foot Care course in 2006 and never looked back. Teresa is also specialized in diabetic foot care, corns, calluses, warts, fungal toenails and other foot related issues. She truly enjoys her work and has developed quite the artistic talent in this field. She focuses on making each one of her patients feel better in their own feet. Everyone is very different and no two feet are alike. Maintenance is key to keeping your feet healthy and comfortable so regular treatments are very important. Your feet carry you so it is imperative to look after them! Teresa will help you do just that! Teresa was a presenter at the 20th annual Ruth Ruttan's Foot Care Conference in 2016.

Teresa is also a Canfitpro certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor and works part-time with the City of Barrie's fitness staff. She calls this her, "fun job," although foot care is just as enjoyable for her. She has a strong passion for health and wellness.

In her spare time, you will find Teresa running on her treadmill, home decorating, going for walks, cooking, wine/craft beer tasting and purely enjoying life and spending time with the people she loves!
